Great Start to the Designer Garage Sale – One more day to go!

Busy shoppers at the Designer Garage Sale today

It was a great day at the Designer Garage Sale today with thousands of happy shoppers joining us for a busy few hours of shopping.

The day started with a VIP hour with 150 lucky shoppers getting first look at the stock on offer. A fabulous seminar by MAC in the adjacent showroom was also a highlight as we got into full swing at 11:00am.

Both Lonely Hearts and Ruby were extremely popular in the sale, as werer TK, Sabatini and Huffer which had some amazing garments and fabulous low prices. Ioanna Kourbela the best of the newcomers with some fabulous woman’s fashion. Ben Sherman was the top men’s brand, with hundreds of men’s shirts and jackets selling during the day.

By afternoon the number of shoppers had died down, but the shopping continued with a steady flow of happy customers leaving with bags full of goodies.

Thanks to George FM for the live cross today – with the show adding to the vibe of the occasion.

Most of the brands are restocking overnight and those planning to come down can expect lots of fresh styles and fantastic bargains to be on offer all Sunday.

So come down to see us this Sunday – thankfully the weather will have cleared and the shopping will be fine.

The Designer Garage Sale is ready to rock. Our office is full of mirrors, racks, tools and changing room curtains as we prepare for the best two says of fashion shopping this year.

Don’t forget we open for general admission at 11:00am on Saturday 3rd March, (unless you purchase a VIP ticket ), running through to 5pm. Sunday hours are 10am – 5pm.

G.A tickets are just $5 at the door or for those wanting first dibs on the best bargains grab your VIP ticket from iticket for $15.

We’re really excited to have so many cool designers back again, including Cybele, Huffer and Ruby, joining the perennial top sellers, Lonely Hearts, Chaos and Harmony and Kagi.

As always there will be wonderful designers selling their exquisite products from end of season lines and one off samples ranging from tops to shoes, pants to jewelry – all at heavily discounted prices.

The Designer Garage Sale is a fun day out – grabbing some fabulous bargains from New Zealand’s favorite designers.
