Blak garment on sale at the Designer Garage Sale

Blak Cult Shirt RRP$229, DGS only $99!

For Winter 2011, the two complementary Blak ranges – Blak Basics and Blak Luxe – become intertwined, working to the same themes, and linking together to create strong and wearable looks.

Skin Deep is a collection of contrasts. On one side, it’s about loving the skin you’re in, through the soft romance of sheer silks and translucent laces. On the other, leopard skin prints and leather panels arouse a darker, wilder kind of nature. The lighter side of the collection is beautifully uncomplicated and flirtatiously revealing.

A Good Bunch of Brady

Brady dress in the Designer Garage Sale

Brady Wasabi dress in Olive - RRP $289, DGS just $195

Brady is edgy and constructed, with intriguing silhouettes and colour combinations, it’s about having one key piece that makes an entire ensemble stand out. Movement is kept in mind with the design, as each Brady piece is produced to create or compliment the rhythm and flow of a woman’s body.

Brady is daring but not too out there – it takes risks to be a fusion of high fashion and easy wear, culminating in a range of distinctive yet easily identifiable pieces. Its real point of difference is in the attention paid to every garment as a three dimensional object, so that from the front, side and back, there is always something of interest, from the subtle detailing to the way it drapes.

The debut Brady range was inspired by Japanese Haikus, a form of poetry that is written, read and understood independently. This theme features throughout, resulting in a fully cohesive collection that can still be unique to its wearers through fluid silhouettes and daring new shapes in exclusive silks and modals.

Chaos & Harmony – The Perfect Storm

Since its inception in 2008, Chaos & Harmony has firmly established itself as a lively, spontaneous and expressive designer shoe brand.

The label has achieved coverage in an array of renowned Australasian publications including Sunday magazine, Fashion Quarterly, Simply You, Black, Cleo, 1am, Rolling Stone, Mindfood and Grazia with plans to forcefully expand into the Australian and Asian markets in the near future.

Ever ambitious, Lead Designer and Managing Director, Rebecca Anderson grew up wanting to own her own business and after graduating from the Instituo Europeo di Design in Rome, Italy, she teamed up with long-time friend and colleague Renee Ryland to form the continually evolving and expanding Chaos & Harmony.

And yes, H&C will be at the Designer Garage Sale this year!
