We’re really excited about next year’s Designer Garage Sale, featuring as part of New Zealand Fashion Festival 2012. The very roomy venue of Shed 10 on Queens Wharf will be the perfect location for fashion bargain hunters to find all their favourite brands all in one place for a limited time. As usual with the Designer Garage Sale, the prices will be insane so you’ll need to get in quick as it’s a first in first served situation!

It was another huge couple of days where thousands of fashion bargain hunters flooded through the Designer Garage Sale at the Viaduct Events Centre (wasn’t it flash!). We sure hope you found what you were looking for, the place looked like a tornado had hit it by the end but that means you hunted thoroughly. Well done you.

We’ve dropped down another gear here at the Designer Garage Sale as things are really picking up with the doors officially opening today 5pm. WHAT?! How did that happen so fast? The racks are in, clothes are being hung, shoes are being lovingly positioned, accessories are looking glam, all in preparation for you to view and snap up.

Here we see the beautiful Christina and Stephanie shining up the mirrors which are in for a LOT of use over the next couple of days.

We’re very excited to be holding this year’s Designer Garage Sale at the Viaduct Events Centre, located funnily enough at Auckland’s Viaduct!

Here’s the exact address: Viaduct Events Centre, 161 Halsey Street. You carry on straight ahead once you reach the end of Halsey Street. Just take a look at the map below. There’s handy parking nearby at Pakenham St. and Fanshaw St.

The Viaduct Events Centre is a stand-alone, multi-purpose events centre built on the Halsey Street extension wharf. Opened in August 2011, the facility is MASSIVE which is lucky because we have so many amazing items at the DGS, and will definitely need the space to fit them all, as well as all you lovely people!

With spectacular views of the Waitemata Harbour, it’s minutes away from the city centre and public transport services, so you should totally check out the surrounding area of the Viaduct Harbour afterwards. It’s always fun gazing at the luxury launches and yachts, day dreaming of what it would be like to own one and sail around the world!

NZ Fashion Week has finally arrived which means we are a mere few days away from the highly anticipated Sunday Star-Times Designer Garage Sale!

The Blomfield office is filling up fast with boxes of designer clothing all set and ready to go for this weekend’s sale.

Remember it’s not too late to get your tickets to Fashion Weekend if you havent done so already. Tickets are $20 available from iticket and include entry to the Sunday Star-Times Designer Garage Sale.
