When is the Designer Garage Sale?

The next Designer Garage Sale is taking place in conjunction with the New Zealand Fashion Festival 2012.

Dates of the sale are:

Saturday 3rd March 11am to 5pm

Sunday 4th March 10am to 5pm

Limited VIP access for invited guests and partners from 9am on Saturday.

Where is the Designer Garage Sale?

2012 will see us set up at the very spacious Shed 10 on Queens Wharf, Auckland.

Keeping things humming around the Viaduct, it really is a fantastic location.

How do I get tickets for this year’s sale?

The Designer Garage Sale tickets will be available at the door or through iTicket.  On sale announcements will be made closer to the time. Ticket price includes access to the Designer Garage Sale and the other attractions of the New Zealand Fashion Weekend. Price TBC.

What designers are on sale this year?

We have a majority of this year’s designers already listed, just click here to see some of them!

What products will be on sale?

The Designer Garage Sale will feature a wide range of brands and products ranging from womenswear and menswear to footwear, accessories and jewellery.

How much will I be saving by coming to the Designer Garage Sale?

The prices on offer are up to the individual designers and labels involved in the sale but generally the savings are between 50-70% less than the RRP.

Can I see some previews of what will be on sale?

Yes, our main blog posts will be documenting some of the amazing products our designers are offering for this year’s Designer Garage Sale

How do I get to the sale?

Head over to Maxx http://www.maxx.co.nz/ for a full list of public transport available to get you into Auckland’s CBD and to the Designer Garage Sale.

Will there be parking at the venue?

There is on street parking around the venue and there is also tournament parking down the road from the sale.

How can I pay for my purchases?

At the Designer Garage Sale you can pay with cash, EFTPOS or Visa (including Visa Debit).

How does the purchasing system work?

  1. Take merchandise to the sales assistant within the designer booth in exchange for a sales docket.
  2. Take the sales docket to the nearest cash register and pay.
  3. Return promptly to the booth to collect your merchandise.

What happens if I do not pay for and collect my purchases immediately?

After one hour, unclaimed garments may be put back on sale.

Will food and drink be available during the sale?

New Zealand Fashion Festival has a great mix of entertainment going on – and bars and restaurants will be open throughout the entire duration of the sale. See the NZ Fashion Week website for more: here.
